Sorry ford fans, but "The truck of the Fair" award results are being thrown out because of voter fraud. Yep, it's true, ford fans were horrified that there favorite truck was getting beat by GM AGAIN! so they did what they normally do when getting beat, they cheated!

So the results are now null and void and just like a Miss America pagent winner when losing her crown, the award will be handed down to the runner up and in this case that means the Chevy Silverado is the winner. Sorry ford fans you lose again!

What happened? All of the; F-Series, Ram, Sierra, and Silverado owners, working at the Tacoma/Tundra plant, are not supporting the Texas assembled Japanese pickups?

Kudos to Ford. I am suprised that anyone didn't know Ford would win. I mean, they have the most tech-packed drivetrain and offer the most for the money, if you can afford it. Again, crown the winner, be happy with what you drive, and for the love of god...grow up.

@Red 4 X4 US Pickups tend to be generic here. Few would know the difference between the brands or even know the brand names. The intense brand loyalty displayed in the US/Canada is unknown. On the other hand Ford and Holden supporters( Much more light hearted) display their loyalty at V8Supercar races.

@Red 4X4. The difference between current US sull Size and the "midzize" ones here is shrinking dramatically. As as Heft goes we have many people who like their large 6000lb SUV's. Unlike the US they like to take them off road as well

As far as Pickup pricing goes. I saw this article and it gives a clue why GM wants to introduce the Colorado into a "dead market" in the US:
