Stuffed with just about every beefy piece of technology and luxury feature available, the all-new 2018 Ford Super Duty Limited debuted at the 2017 State Fair of Texas. Available for the F-250, F-350 and F-450, the Limited trim level is now the most expensive consumer pickup truck you can buy at just less than $100,000 with all the option boxes checked. But that doesn't mean it's not packed with value.

We take a closer look in this video and share what we think.

These things are really ugly when I see them on the street. The Rear end looks like a giant Tacoma. I think RAM and GMC are the best looking HD trucks.

This truck is taking care of business....hand to 'em sob's.

These truck are gorgeous when I see them on the street. Massive visual presence with classic Ford squareness. From the rear they remind me of the '67-'72 truck. Nice work, Ford!

He said no wood on center console right as video showed wood on center console. As for RAM, they are missing panoramic roof, 360 cam, and much tech more. Luxury just isn't leather seats.

Just don't look down the side of the truck at any kind of angle. Ford clearly can't get the alumumin panels stamped without looking like swiss cheese and yes they all have it. I would not pay 80K for a truck with that kind of build quality.

Great job as usual, these things are beasts! The panels are fine, I have rode and drove most of the new ones (except what is pictured of course), very nice HD's for sure. Inside and out these trucks are far superior to the others, and America spoke, Ford in first!

I noticed a few F-150s that had wavy side panels, mainly the bed sides. Is it from the manufacturing or is it the bed flexing?

I noticed these F-150's and Super Duties do a little rear end dance when they hit bumps in the road, maybe the frame is too stiff and the panels are flexing?

The 2015's had real wavy panels. 2017's seem to be improved some what. The right rear door on a screw is real wavy!

There is no VALUE in a truck that costs $100,000. Ford, GM or Ram or whoever!
Even our company can't afford to buy new trucks anymore!

It's not $100k. $95,000 sticker means 90,000 invoice less rebates. People will be picking up these $100k trucks forbaround 85 thousand- 87 thousand. F-250 may be less. It is real value to people in the high end market. You are getting three vehicles in one: luxury vehicle, a 4x4 and a truck that can work.

I think Ford has the right business approach, offer Luxury Lines within a Single Line of Trucks, not spread out like another manufacturer that I know of.

To get the bling for a certain truck, you must step into another another brand.

It just sounds like poor business execution, I'm sure they have Business Majors running the Marketing Team, but damn, it's weak.

@Old GM Guy

Can you imagine the Year One depreciation on these?

$20k or more. For the year-one and year-two depreciation combined you could buy a really nice RAM or GMC 2500 with a Cummins or Duramax.

$100K for a truck!?!? Absurd

P.T.Barnun said there's a sucker born every minute. This truck
is about an hours worth.....

For $100k it still cant out run or pull the new duramax...what a shame

Must need the $105k model??? Lol

That model is for the F-450, in which Chevy nor GMC have a dog in this fight, so your comment is irrelevant.

I see these F-series trucks on the street and it just reinforces how wise it was for me to choice a Silverado.

your comment is irrelevant. Posted by: Frank | Oct 4, 2017

@Frank

Please explain why. Simply saying it is not persuasive.

Persuade your fans and they'll respect you for it. Otherwise they will just think you're a jerk.

@ Frank

No it's Not! Learn to read and understand what your commenting about. My brother in law just got this truck in a 350.....it was right around $100k. So shut it

I swear Frank makes me dislike Ford's and fanboys sooooooo much....he knows nothing

@papajim,

I will quit the name calling, I'm tired of it and I'm sure you deserve better.

The Limited trim has been available on the light-duty F-150 since 2015 and will now be offered on F-250, F-350 and F-450 pickups. It features a starting price of more than $80,000, easily the most expensive pickup truck model on the market. Selecting all options on the highest level F-450 Limited runs the total price up to $94,455.

@TNTGMC,

You too, I'll play nice, if you place nice.

Do you have a link to back up the source. $100K F-350.

Ok. Just called my brother in law....sorry Frank it's was 93k...my bad

I still take a 3500 and our pull or run your 450...there for 100k

Have great day

Odd, these are not on sale yet

TNT, you're a GM idiot making up crap. This truck is NOT being sold currently. Maybe your brother bought a '17 Platinum with a lot of dealer add ons like a lift kit and tires. Get your lie straight.

@tnt, tell your BIL thanks for supporting the best truck on the market! He made a wise choice.

@ Dave

Listen here! Have you ever heard of Pre-order?? Well he is a farmer and went to the dealership and has it all preordered you @$$-Half!! Needs a tax right off for the year! WOW!! You fanboys get all bent out of shape over nothing!!

BTW..the Duramax still out pulls and out runs it....is that why you are mad??

@TNTGMC, We agreed to play nice, hold down your end of the bargain.

@Frank

Have you ever been to Australia?

@ Frank

I agree...he called me an idiot...did you not see that?

Goes both ways sir!!

Be the better person, if this is the case you can ignore him.

I wouldn't do that.

I see these F-series trucks on the street and it absolutely reinforces how wise it was for me to choose a FORD F Series. Built Tough,long lasting, on the road not on the service lift like GM mess.

P.T.Barnun said there's a sucker born every minute. GM truck buyers exemplify that statement very well.

Ford and their fans keep copying everything GM. I guess that's what happens from years of frustration at Ford with their poor engines and constant recalls. Well Ford is about to cut 14 billion in operating costs and they will only have to step up their copying of the truck leader, GM. Shucks, that new Ranger, if it ever appears, may become a exact copy of a GM midsize twin.

@GMRSGREAT,

Don't be foolish, the more you type, the more foolish you sound.

You act as if GM is flawless.

Stop with that garbage and post some useful info.

Yes thank you! I have been pointing this out for a while. The build quality is absolutely terrible. And then you pay a huge premium for the Powerstroke, a 3rd rate diesel engine. The Duramax and Cummins destroy it in both performance and durability. $80k spent on a Superduty with a junk fuel system that Ford will blame on bad fuel when they obviously know that the way they designed the system destroys CP4's. Between that and the growing occurrence of cracked heads, burnt exhaust valves, cracked pistons, etc on bone stock 6.7 and you have an expensive toy ready to burn your cash with repairs.
