There were plenty of full-size one-ton pickups showing off their towing muscles at the 2017 State Fair of Texas, but we especially liked the farm-life special-edition Ram put together. The 2018 Harvest Edition — available on the Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 — is a no-frills pickup, but it offers plenty of good tech and towing power. It's on sale now and can be had in Case IH Red and New Holland Blue.

"No frills" is a lie. In your other article you stated the following:

"Harvest Edition Rams will sport wavy cross-hair chrome grilles, chrome bumpers, chrome wheels (17 inch on 1500s and 18 inch on 2500/3500 models), chrome mirrors, door handles and exhaust tips (V-8 1500s only). Harvest Edition models also will have black tube steps, a spray-in bedliner, all-terrain tires, rubber floormats and heated seats; 4x4 models get extra skid plates and heavy-duty models get a cargo-view bed camera."

Frills are ornamental objects of no real value. If chrome and paint aren't frills I don't know what is, and it only costs another what, five, ten grand? Yeah, it's not the King Winchester Cowboy 1776 Dude Ranch edition with vibrating leather, but passing off a midgrade trim truck as a base model is one of the reasons they are so expensive now. You really want no frills? Buy a tradesman model. That actually fits the definition.

Looks very nice compared to the Gm products in this sector. I wish Gm would wake up and finally make a truck to be proud of, instead of old tech, and nothing new for 10 years.
