I got to say, their new interior and features blows me away! And this is coming from a GM truck person. The new Silverado's is alright but could of been nicer...

Great job RAM

Two Words:
Chevyota Tundarado.

LOL. Was thinking the same thing this morning at the gym looking out the window at some guys new Ram 1500. Seems like MFG's are making them look the same so you can't form an opinion about looks as much as you can about performance and comfort.
That takes one less selling point out of the equation.
Pretty soon they'll look so much alike that color and engine will be the only deciding factor.

It's a shame that the Ram 1500 has slowly devolved from the tough SFA half-ton we remember from the movie Twister, to the soft, flabby truck that wants to be a luxury car today. The interior in the truck looks great but the ancient engine is disappointing and the sloppy IRS setup is way too loose and and saggy.

the ancient engine is disappointing? REally? give me an example of how it's disappointing?

Let the truck wars begin (again). I really was into the new Silverado, but this truck seems to blow it away, although I need to see it in person. Being a current Gm owner, it amazes me just when GM looks like they have a winner, another maker comes out and steals the show. The Ram is stealing the show right now.

I think, finally, the Ford F150 has met its match.

I think this truck will surpass Chevrolet Silverado sales in 2018.

Really, I want to see how the mild hybrid system helps because I don't see anything else done to the engine. The 5.7 and 3.6 are long in the tooth. People who think it will overtake gm are living in a pipe dream where brand loyalty isn't a thing and fca spends as much on advertising as gm.

You cannot be serious!

They are talking about (getting close to) double digit percent increase fuel economy, and big improvements to dead-stop acceleration from all the extra torque.

The engineering and development required to obtain those amazing results with a basic V8 engine take the bleeping cake. You are hard to please!

This absolutely blew away the new Silverado! Chevy's interior looks exactly like the current model, the outside looks like a Tundra, what little Tech they added they stole from Ford.

Really really looks good. Ram defines rely is shooting for the top. Ford should take some notes on interior materials ram uses. They are absolutely first rate.

Real nice looking Ram, inside - out.
But, on the work site everybody knows you don't load the Rams to much. Good for crew moving and ok for parts and some tools, but you don't try to load up a Ram. And everyone in the trades and skills know it. And many contractors have made that mistake.
Fords and Chevy half-tons can take a load, a big load, with F150 taking the prize. And looks like this Ram is going down same road. Nice looking and luxury for trips, family, going to work and date night but still not a Work Truck.
