Chevrolet Releases Pricing for 2019 Silverado 1500

2019-Chevrolet-Silverado-017 II

By Brian Normile

The redesigned 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is arriving in dealerships this fall, and now we know how much it will cost. The good news for frugal shoppers is that a crew-cab LT model is now $700 cheaper than the outgoing 2018 crew-cab LT; other models may see price increases depending on equipment, including the top-of-the-line 2019 High Country model. It will cost $1,000 more than the outgoing Silverado 1500 High Country.

The prices below for the new 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 include a $1,495 destination fee that's only $150 less than the 2019 Ram 1500's — at $1,645 it's the highest in the class. All crew-cab models will be equipped with a short bed, while extended-cab (double cab, if you speak Chevy) models have a standard-length bed. A regular cab is only available on the Work Truck; it gets a long bed. The price of adding four-wheel drive will depend on the model in question, but Chevrolet expects that the added cost won't be much different than for 2018 models, which was about $3,300, according to a Chevy spokesman.

Work Truck (4.3-liter V-6 standard)

  • Regular cab 4x2: $29,795
  • Double cab 4x2: $33,695
  • Crew cab 4x2: $36,095

Custom (4.3-liter V-6 standard)

  • Double cab 4-x-2: $36,095
  • Crew cab 4-x-2: $38,495

Custom Trail Boss (4x4 only; 4.3-liter V-6 standard)

  • Double cab: $40,995
  • Crew cab: $43,395

LT (2.7-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder standard)

  • Double cab 4-x-2: $38,395
  • Crew cab 4-x-2: $40,795

RST (2.7-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder standard)

  • Double cab 4x2: $40,295
  • Crew cab 4x2: $42,695

LT Trail Boss (4x4 only; 5.3-liter V-8 standard)

  • Double cab: $47,395
  • Crew cab: $49,795

LTZ (5.3-liter V-8 standard)

  • Double cab 4x2: $44,495

Papa, just because your old don't mean you can't be educated. JD was the 3 year study. And you didn't even. Go into Consumer Reports. Takes your meds first and then you can reply back.

I really think GM is playing conservative for a year or two just like Ford did in 09 and 10 when they kept the 5.4L around. They will update the engines across the board in a year or two is my feeling. Which isnt a bad thing. Ford had great success in getting rid of the last 5.4L until the new ecoboost and 5.0L arrived. Just my opinion.

that's a good point it sure does feel like GM is playing it safe, also i remember the last days of the 5.4 all the Ford guys where screaming for more power and they where still putting the 5.4 in F-250's and 350's

I LOVE my crew cab with 6.5 foot bed!!!!!!!!!
Posted by: nlp | Jul 3, 2018
amen to that i love my 6.5 bed

@nlp

good luck finding a parking space
interesting i have yet to find it to be a problem maybe it's because i don't use mine to get groceries,

In the meantime I'll keep driving the 09 with zero problems, zero payments and minor expenses.

Sorry about YOUR bad luck.

Haha! A friend of mine has a 5.4 in F-250 and he doesn't mind having to drop his highway speed down to 35 mph going up a hill with 8,000 lbs in tow. LOL!

Don't forget; the poor folks who bought Expeditions (instead of the vastly superior Suburban) got the 5.4 as the only engine choice until just a few years ago.

Vastly superior by having the shakes and cabin pressure issues? Nice one man that met Elvis. Oh wait a minute, the Expedition out ranks Chevy in reliability. Dang, your not good at this at all.

Better than a 6.0L from GM that can just make it up.to 35 mph going strat and level towing 8000lbs. Didn't the GM get it's but handed to it from Ford and Ram in the gas truck shoot out. Yes it did. Slowest accelerating, worst braking, worst fuel mileage and it caught on fire.

Elvis. Go back to your room. You can't come out until you are done making your bed and putting away your toys. You talk/write like a child.

How do you know what I talk like? Do your meds allow you to hear voices in your head?

Elvis,

Why don't you go and stuff your face with some peanut butter and banana sandwiches and S T F U. Silly Ford shill.

One thing is clear, GM continues to slide compared to Ford. Heck even my wife, just looked at a Buick suv, then the explorer, not even close, they need to give the gms away or they will not sell....

Sorry papajim. I'm here and never going to leave. Have you considered I might be just another medication induced voice in your head?

Lol!!! good one, that's how you rile up the GM humpers

GM went to quarterly reports probably because all the negative reviews this new truck has received by consumers and press, from exterior to no change in the interior.

hahaha...bout like the P O S 2018 Sooper Dooty F250 gasser that couldn't make it up the Ike Gauntlet without self destructing or the diesel Sooper Dooty with overinflated horsepower and torque #'s that never quite lives up to Ford claims. :)

You must need glasses there Bill. Hell even Stevie Wonder could see that significant changes have been made to that interior in design, materials, more space, etc. Might want to make an appointment with Lens Crafters before the end of the week. If that doesn't work then Walmart has a vision center as well!!

I remember that. That was a bummer it had a faulty water pump. I also remember it beat the snot out that Chevy.

You know what else I remember. PUTC had a 35lb sand bag come loose and moved 18" and it pushed the Chevy bed into the back of the cab. Now that's Chevy tuff. LOL.

Slung the fan too if I remember correctly. Quality is Job 1 at the Blue Oval.

I still have fond memories of my '98 P O S F150 company truck when it was new. Problem after problem, cracking door skins, etc interior falling all to pieces. It was a real winner!

An GM had to find a back up truck for other magazine reviews because the Chevy could not withstand a small sand bag moving in it's bet and it caught on fire while being tested.

Might want to reread that story! That wasn't a 35lb sand bag. I was a huge sack of sand. All that dope you did in the 60s and 70s must have pickled your brain! :)

Nice work Elvis!

You blew the GMshills minds with you factual posts. The evidence is in their personal attack replies to you.

Bravo!

Oh so you remember the Chevy getting totalled by a small sand bag and PUTC could not get the same thing to happen to the Ram and Aluminum Ford.

Posted by: Elvis is dead | Jul 3, 2018 12:05:54 PM

You GM girls always brag about being the fastest. Remember the comparison between the Superduty and GMC and the GMc was getting pushed by the large trailer and the Superduty was rock solid. The funny thing was, you fan girls were like "the GMC seats are soft so it's better". That was epic funny.

Posted by: Elvis | Jul 3, 2018 12:38:05 PM

The Ford aluminum bed just gets holes in it like Swiss cheese when the going gets tough. Hell, I remember that Sooper Dooty that caught fire in the desert a while back. The entire body melted to the ground!! The only thing left was the steel chassis!

Have a wonderful evening guys! It's been a real pleasure. My momma always warned me not to feed the T r o l l s. I've lost several minutes of my life here that I will never get back. :)

Elvis, maybe you and Priscilla could hook up for the night?

Sorry GMShill, the 6.7L is SAE J1349 certified for both chassis and dynamometer-based certifications horsepower and torque.

The only thing overinflated is your head.

Elvis, maybe you and Priscilla could hook up for the night?

Haha, your out of ideas. At least your sittng in your comfy gm seat while you wait for a tow truck on the side of the road. Looks like papajim has to take his Chevy back to the dealer.

HOT NEWS:

Very strong truck sales and a wave of all-new crossovers helped GM deliver more than 758,000 vehicles in the United States in the second quarter of 2018.

Chevrolet and GMC delivered industry-leading pickup sales for the second quarter and first half of 2018.

Sales were up 21 percent in the second quarter versus a year ago, and up 12 percent in the first half.

What a bunch of freaking chest pounding idiots on this site. They desperately need to go back to a moderated forum.

6.7 is certified on the dynomometer, and made in mexico

Look at PapaJoke definition attempt

You suck

@BA

read it and weep.

Second quarter sales at Chevrolet and GMC outpaced the industry on a year-over-year basis, growing 6 percent and 7 percent, respectively, while the rest of the auto industry sales are estimated to be up 1 to 2 percent.

Ya you suck
Can't compete with a Mexican PowerStoke

Hey papa, Ford still sold 60,000 more full sized trucks that both GM junks combined.

@Nitro

During the last 3 months GM recorded double-digit gains for 14 vehicle lines during the quarter, including every single Chevrolet and GMC pickup and SUV nameplate.

So you’re in agreement that the numbers can’t be overinflated because of SAE certification. What’s your take on the 300k GM full-size made in Mexico? Since you like to whine about the 6.7L Scorpion being assembled there, I’d l like to know.

I know GM is the largest truck maker but you still suck

@Elvis

GM races ahead of Ford during the first six months of 2018. See if there's some Advil in mommy's medicine cabinet.

I attack Frank for his sakes rants.

Now it’s you PapaJoke that seems fixated on GM sales propaganda.

Funny thing is, GM still came up short to Ford in full size.

@BA

facts are facts. Go home now, little boy.

Someone doesn't understand numbers very well.

All you GMshills are whiners. I don't care the PS is made in Mexico it's still awesome

This is pickuptrucks.com

So get on topic PapaJoke

https://www.tfltruck.com/2018/07/june-2018-full-size-truck-sales-usa-report/

I agree with BA
I don't have a truck and probably never will but Ford is #1

All of the big mouth Ford boys are heading for the hills today because GM just announced their record breaking Second Quarter.

All of the blue oval guys who were whining about GM moving to quarterly reports can now read all about the big gains that GM made during the last six months.

Sales is the only factor that matters when determining how good a truck is. Ask any Ford guy. While I'm talking about TFL, just look at the one-ton gauntlet, the PS took 3rd up Eisenhower but it's #1
GMshills you suck

Maybe record breaking for GM, but look, Ford still sells more full sized trucks than GM. That's a real bummer. But at least your fast. LOL.

Hey idiot. Look who keeps posting about sales. It’s a GM t r o l l.

Not a Ford fan, a but a GM t r o l l.

Longfellow you ain't

That is directed at BA
