SEMA 2008: Mopar Underground Dodge Ram R/T Live
We've got the first live pictures to share with you of the Dodge Ram R/T that Chrysler's Mopar Underground has custom-built for SEMA. It's based on the all-new 2009 Ram 1500 R/T regular cab pickup. Both versions share the same naturally aspirated, 390-horsepower Hemi V-8 with 407 pounds-feet of torque, a five-speed automatic transmission and a 4.10 rear axle for quick launches of 0-60 in less than 6 seconds.
A Mopar twin-nostril aluminum hood and cold-air intake kit improves engine cooling and breathe-ability, and a dual-exhaust system gives it a deep performance rumble.
The exterior is painted classic B5 blue, and the chassis has been dropped with a concept Mopar air suspension kit. The wheels are concept Mopar 22-inch Alcoas wrapped in 285/45R22s in front and 305/40R22s in the rear.
A Mopar hard tonneau cover and a unique integrated spoiler are combined with a Mopar bed mat and an ambient under-rail LED lighting system.
The interior features Katzkin leather seats with B5-blue colored stitching to match the instrument panel and steering wheel. A set of Mopar Pedals are installed, adding to the performance look and capability.
We're not sure how fast the truck is after all the enhancements are added, but we're sure we could probably get a ticket in it.
