with not that meny people buying car and trucks from any companys ford and chevy i think chrysler is making a big mistake redesigning the 2500 and 3500 RAM they might lose alot of money doing this they should just wate and see how this down right BEAUTIFUL 2009 DODGE RAM sells then think about redesigning the 2500 and 3500 dodge ram. Please consider my comment CHRYSLER BECAUSE i been A dodge RAM fan for a long time.
You're right Jonathan, they should hold off and see how well they do on the 2009 Ram.." Keep on Truckin"
I think that undating the HD with the new body style is just want Dodge needs! The 3rd gen style is getting old and the new style will the kick butt over the ford and chevy! Times are tough and getting the edge is what this industry is all about. The new style is so much better looking than the ford (that Ford HD is one ugly truck!) or chevy and should help to increase seles for the big boys. I am one of those waiting for the new style in the HD. Bring it on!!
finally! i have been wait for dodge ram HD with true 4 doors and long bed with best diesel engine CUMMINS!! I hope they didnt come with emission junk that they keep having problem/
No doubt, the new look and freshened up interior will be a welcome addition to this model. I would be really surprised if Dodge changed the emission system on these trucks.
For the record, it is not a junk emission system installed on the Cummins engine. Some owners/drivers will need to change driving habits in order to keep the Diesel Particulate Filter clean. By that I mean, use the diesel engine as it was designed for. Such as towing, and hauling heavy loads. If you try to use the Cummins engine for short distance commuter travel, the chances are good you will clog the filter and face thousands of dollars in repair costs. Something to consider if thinking about buying diesel power.
I hope they solve all the problem they been having on the Cummins 6.7. There been alot of recalls. Yes indeed they are good looking Truck. Wait til Ford comes out withe new Diesel Scorpion 6.7 and its not a Power Stroke, anyway its suppose to get 3 more mPG better than the 6.4. Anyway just buy whats make you happy.
I think that dodge is doing the right thing because the old body style SUCKS! I'VE BEEN A DODGE FAN FOR A LONG TIME and FORD'S DIESEL and GM'S SUCK'S because no fuel milage or power
hey, al i'm with u ford's HD is one ugly truck and GM'S that GM HD looks like a space ship
The New Dodge looks great. I would like to thank the design engineers at Chrysler for the bringing a great truck to market. The interiors in years past have been horrible in relation to the fine power trains that are the backbone of these trucks but I was completely blown away with the fit and finish as well as the sheer power of your new trucks on a recent test drive. Good job guys I'll be buying a new HD soon.
