Enhancements to Titan for the 2010 model year include revised equipment packages and content – including a new SE Value Truck Package with cloth captain’s chairs, tow hitch, Bluetooth Hands-free Phone System, 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, fog lights and more, offered at $1,300 for the King Cab and $1,350 for the Crew Cab – a savings versus the same equipment purchased separately.

WOW!!!! That's along wheel Base.. My Dad 2001 2500 Dodge Ram Extended Cab and 8 FT. Bed is the same . The longer wheel Base the better ride you get...But they are hard to park in Parking lot.. LOL But still a Good Lookin Truck.. Glad they keepin there on style. Do just alittle changing, like inside the Cab area around the Dash and others.. Keep on Tuckin Nissan!!!
While I still like the Titan, I think Nissan is going to have to offer some nice incentives to move them just because its growing a bit old in its current form and its has the lowest MPG's.
Terrible Trick POS, doesn't get the mileage the 5.4L ford (1000 kms tank) (long bed truck, Nissan needs to give up cars and trucks, there basic, POS.
I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don't know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.

I just recently bought a 2008 Titan crew cab with 12k miles. i absolutely love the truck. The thing that sold me was the power and pick up the truck has. i would have never pictured myself in a foreign truck untill i test drove it. I drove the new ford, chevy, and dodge pickups and like the nissan the best. As far as gas mileage, yes it burns some fuel, but when you buy a 5.6L V8 do you really expect to get 30 mpg:)
For the mileage of the truck, as every website will tell you, it depends on how you drive, and what kind of traffic you are in. Sure, EPA gives the Titan 14/17 MPG, very low in today standards of tree-hugger and CAFE, but heck, you buy a V8 full-size pick up truck not for its mileage.
That's said, I have a 2005 4x2 crew cab with 113K miles on it and have been tracking the MPG from the day I bought it. My traffic is stop and go highway commute most of the time and the MPG ran about 16-17. For the time of open highway travel by myself, at speed of 65-70 MPH, the MPG range 19.5 to 21.2. Fully loaded with four people and cargo, at 65-70 MPH, slightly less at 18-19 MPG. When time is of the essence, at above the known speed limit in the land of 75MPH, the number drop to about 17 MPG.
It's a far cry from that of the frugal Civic when it comes to MPG, but I'll take my Titan any day. Nothing beats the comfort of the big rig, carrying four full-grown adults plus full cargo, sitting up high. And yes, the roar of the V8 when you press on that pedal.
Just got a 2010 Pro-4X Titan Crew cab. Love it. I test drove the 2010 F-150 FX4 at a little over 8 grand more then the Titan, it didn't have the power and get up I was looking for. Test drove the 2010 Chevy Silverado LTZ, very nice truck but to low to the ground for this Wyoming Off Roader. I didn't even look at the Dodge Ram simply because I owned a 2005 Dodge Dakota with the V8 Magnum and at only 46k miles it had been in the shop three times. Also the mini dakota was lucky to get 13 mpg around town. Never thought I would buy a foreign owned vehicle but after test driving the Titan and owning one I couldn't be happier with my pick. Love the Fords to but to expensive.
thinking of toyota or nissan ,i own a 92 toyota 4/4 extra cab with 300k on it best truck i have ever owned, just snooping ,will be driving a new one soon
I recommend the ZEON FX Flash Headlight Assembly Kit for the Nissan Titan 2008 and below models. Its great driving at night or under bad weather conditions. I'm not sure if ZEON FX are compatible for the 2009 models and above.
bought a 2004 king cab new and loved everything about it
except the turning radius and the 15 mpg. for 6 yrs it was
maintiance free. bought another in 2010 new. it is the heavy
metal chrome crew cap. and the two weak points remain the
same mpg and turning redius. the ride, power, sound system
are great
