5 Gift Ideas for Father's Day

Looking for the perfect gift for dad this Father’s Day? We’ve put together a list of five items you might want to consider if he owns a pickup truck.

No. 5: Automoblox Mini T900 Highcroft Trailer Set - $36

Automoblox Mini T900 Highcroft Trailer Set

Automoblox makes awesome wooden toys, and its T900 pickup has been a favorite of ours for a long time. Automoblox now has introduced the new Mini Highcroft Trailer Set after teaming up with American Le Mans Series champion Highcroft Racing. Sporting matching Highcroft livery, a heavy-duty mini T900 pickup pulls the slick #1 mini C9-R racecar on a brand-new flatbed trailer. It features a patented wheel-locking mechanism to secure any Automoblox mini to the trailer, and a flatbed made from solid, renewable beechwood.

No. 4: Spray-In Bedliner - $300 to $500

Spray-in Bedliner

Whether dad has an old or new pickup truck, if he uses the cargo box frequently, it’s going to need some protection to last. Ford, Nissan and Ram offer factory spray-in liners for their new pickups, while aftermarket companies such as Rhino and Line-X have franchises around the country where a liner can be added at any time. For a bit extra, some aftermarket liners can be color-matched to a truck’s existing paint.

No. 3: Bully Dog’s Triple Dog GT Gas or Diesel Gauge/Tuner - $469 (gas) to $699 (diesel)

Bully Dog’s Triple Dog GT Gas or Diesel Gauge/Tuner

When it comes to modifying engine performance, dad can wrench on the truck himself to install new parts (and possibly teach the kids a few new words when he scrapes his knuckles), or in about 20 minutes he can install Bully Dog’s GT Gas or Diesel Gauge/Tuner, depending on the engine type and year, make and model of truck. Both Triple Dog Gauge/Tuners are a computerized vehicle engine tuner, monitor, gauge and diagnostic devices all in a single unit. Dad can monitor engine performance and fuel economy or change engine and transmission tuning for extra horsepower and torque with the press of a button. Grunt. Grunt. Grunt.

No. 2: SuperBumper - $140 to $230

SuperBumper

Help keep dad and his rig a bit safer with the so-called SuperBumper, a shock-absorbing bumper that mounts in a pickup’s receiver hitch. It uses hard rubber isolators, called Bumper Buffers, to absorb rear impacts up to 5 mph without sustaining damage or allowing the truck to be damaged, according to the manufacturer. It also comes with a ball mount and chrome hitch ball that can tow up to 6,000 pounds, with 600 pounds of tongue weight.

No. 1: High Performance Tire Bowl - $18

High Performance Tire Bowl

You might want to make dad a special breakfast for Father’s Day. So, what better to go with bacon than Corn Flakes served in a tire bowl? Yep, it’s a bowl shaped like a knobby rubber tire that’s perfect for oatmeal or cereal. He can show it off to all his friends that drive Ford F-150 SVT Raptors. It also includes a snap-lock lid that’s styled like a chrome hubcap. Of course, a spoon is sold separately.

zrs2 - Google is your friend. Or use BING or Yahoo if you prefer :)

That Automoblox truck looks just like a Superduty if they made Superduties out of wood and neon green Play-Doh.

Cool stuff, all, but a lot of it is a bit pricey.

The automoblox and the cereal bowl are pretty cool. I got my fathers day gift early. A new polaris ranger. Wife said i won`t be recieving any more fathers day, birthday, or christmas presents but I`m sure she was just kidding.
:)))))))))))))

The Automoblox Mini T900 is soo freakin awesome. I've NEVER seen cool wooden toys for adults before. I don't know about giving it to my Dad, may have to nab this one for myself!
