It was a busy day for us at the State Fair of Texas in Dallas on Thursday. In case you missed it, here's a look at our coverage:
- Ram reveals new Laramie Longhorn Edition
- Ford is taking an F-150 with EcoBoost to the Baja 1000
- Toyota unveils two special-edition Tundras
- We find a one-ton version of the Laramie Longhorn
- Even the badges, er, buckles are bigger in Texas

I guess GM failed to show up.
umm....yeh, whats the deal with that?
GM is to busy trying to convinvce China to buy there stocks. Emagine how much more cheep there interiors will be once China starts making them for GM.
@Gene- just when I thought people couldn't get any dumber, there you are.
@ Chris - looks like you've never read a bobsie boy post.
The biggest fair with the biggest truck presence in the country and NO NEWS from GM.
That says it all.
I think GM should dump either GMC or Chevy as far as producing trucks. To me, it's redundant.
I bet we are going to get some news from GMC.
A whole new line of platic chrome hubcaps for the Denali.

@ Lou-
"A whole new line of platic chrome hubcaps for the Denali."? haha...Coming from a guy who's minivan has $20 spinners from walmart. This is just HILARIOUS!
ram is really turning up the heat.will it be enough to be competitive with gm and ford
GM does not have a large presenese at the fair unless their is a new model. Check what they did at the 2007 fair. New model = large presence.
2012 = new model = large presence. Check back after the 2012 State Fair.
Also check back after the Detroit Auto Show in January and then make the claim they don't care about trucks. They will have the biggest truck presence at the biggest auto show of the year!!! That is their plan and it is a darn good one.
