Automotive News is reporting that a deal has been struck to allow full-size GM pickups to be sold through select Costco Warehouse stores. Costco memebers will be eligible for the same discount GM offers to certain supplier employees.

Costco executives expect their members to purchase as many as 5000 Chevy and GMC vehicles (which includes pickups, SUVs, and crossovers) in the two-month period the special program runs.

The Costco Auto Program was started in 1989 and arranges no-haggle pricing on new and certified-used vehicles with participating dealerships on behalf of its members. In 2010, Costco members bought 250,000 vehicles from more than 2,400 dealerships through the program.

@Lou's wife = Bob or Bob's chef - stop being an idiot.
No one really knows what the 2013 Chevy's will be like.
They could be rebadged Thai Colorado's for all we know.

@Dave - My husband and I both shop at Costco. Lou says he is looking forward to the new Scottsdale edition. Sources say it will be the new high end trim that will set the industry standard for truck interiors.

@fake lou's wife - your a funny man. That is hillarious. Do you have any proof that GM will ressurect the Scottsdale badge? I'll buy the best truck on the market when it comes time to replace my current truck (in 5 - 6 years time). If my research says the GM trucks are the best and they give me the features I want, I'll consider buying one.

Honey, From what I've heard, this model could be a limited run of only about 1,000 to 1,500 trucks. You told me last night the new Silverado would be the best truck on the road.

@fake lou's wife - odd, considering my wife was working a night shift last night!
I'd like to point something out:
quote "You told me last night the new Silverado would be the best truck on the road."

Please note the word "WOULD" . That word is a far cry form "IS".
I'll consider a Chevy when it "IS" the best truck on the road.

Now stop the fake posts and go back to your fantacy land of dreaming that maybe, perhaps one day, they will regain the #1 spot in the truck world.
I'd keep your rear view mirrors properly adjusted because Ram will one day pass you.

I'd keep your rear view mirrors properly adjusted because Ram will one day pass you.

I should mention that fact has already ocured in Canada.
Next the USA.
Guts, Glory, Ram.
GMC the longest last place truck on the road.
