2013 Ram 1500: Early Pieces to the Puzzle

T6

Don't you hate it when they do this? I know we do. Clever marketing types love to toss us tiny pieces to a larger pizza pie, hoping that we'll exploit every nibble and crumb they give us. Sure, we could ignore them and try to teach them a lesson and show them they can't manipulate us into blindly giving their product another good bit of publicity and attention.

But then we wouldn't be able to show you these images, so here they are.

Surely, we'll get the bigger, full-sized pictures when they show us the whole enchilada (sorry for the food metaphors--it's been a long day) by early Thursday morning. Yes, there is a lot of speculation about precisely what we're going to see and exactly how technically advanced this particular model (some are speculating it's just a mid-model refresh) will be.

For now, all we have are these added detail (or should we say extreme closeup) shots Ram put on their facebook page. More to come.

GUTS!! GLORY!! RAM!!!!!!!!!

must be another trim level something beyond laramie limited?

One you read the other story all of these close ups make sense. I'm not sure truck guys will care much for loosing the ability to shift gears. I'm surpriced since Ram was the last holdout for manual transmissions.

u can shift gears via the buttons on the steering wheel. the rotor dial shifter is better because it is less of a hassle and will last longer. i have a 2007 and the shifting column is a little clunky
