Titan Wounded Warrior Project Film Debuts on Veterans Day

Nissan is paying special tribute to a pair of Wounded Warrior Project alumni — David Guzman and Kevin McMahon — as the automaker debuts an adventure-packed short film chronicling the pair's Project Titan adventure through the Alaskan wilderness. Filmed in March as the two vets journeyed through one of the most beautiful and dangerous places on Earth, in one of the most well-built and prepped Nissan Titans we've ever seen, the 21-minute short film captures the highlights of the expedition.

Set to debut on the H2 Channel at 11 p.m. Eastern today, Veterans Day, it also can be viewed on Nissan's YouTube Channel, Hulu and Xbox Live. In fact, you can watch it on PickupTrucks.com right now by starting the video below. To find out more about the Titan project and other Nissan trucks, visit its Facebook page. Project Titan and its crew also will participate in the 16th Annual Houston Salutes America Heroes Veterans Day Parade in downtown Houston.

This project started more than a year ago when Nissan asked for suggestions from the automotive media during the 2014 Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade Show. The winning idea came from outdoor journalist Joe Byers; Nissan then asked for your suggestions on how to set up a new Titan to navigate and survive unpredictable terrain and situations.

"When David Guzman and Kevin McMahon set out on this adventure, it was our goal to capture the excitement in a way that would truly represent the enthusiastic spirit of these American heroes alongside one of the toughest trucks on the planet," Fred Diaz, U.S. senior vice president of Nissan sales, marketing and operations, said in a statement. "After months of preparation and diligent work, we've done just that in the form of this episode. We're ecstatic to have the opportunity to launch this on Veterans Day as a way to thank and honor Kevin and David, who serve as outstanding representatives for all Wounded Warrior Project Alumni."

Alaska is enjoying mild weather now while the lower 48 is getting freezing temps and over a foot of snow in many places, they are even getting snow in Texas!
So P-L-E-A-S-E don't try to impress me by proving that truck in Alaska!
Even the last 2 winters Alaska was warmer and milder than the CONUS.
Bring that truck to the UP of Michigan and show it going thru 2 feet of lake effect snow!
That will impress me!
Lets see how the engine starts in Montana when its 20 below 0

Thanks to the veterans!

I want to see more info on the next gen Frontier...come on!!

@Tom#3 - Alaska has a very low population density. 1.3 people per square mile whereas Michigan is 174 per square mile. I've been through Alaska and just like Northern BC where I live, you can drive for hours and not see another vehicle.

Coastal Alaska tends to be more mild due to Pacific Ocean currents but that means a lot of snow. I've been in Alaska and North Western Coastal BC when early season snow storms hit. I got caught in a blizzard that took 4 hours to cover a normal 30 minute distance.
You head East and or North and -45C is common place. -20F is nothing. That is around -29C. Any newer truck will have minimal trouble starting even without a block heater plugged in.

Very well done Nissan. Proud to own the Titan.

Just now watched the teasor. Its pretty good movie to watch. Loved it. Now this movie is available on Morpheus TV app. Get it from https://morpheustv.net/
