Recall Alert: 2014-2015 Ram 1500

2015 ram 1500 recall

Vehicles Affected: Approximately 188,000 model-year Ram 2014-15 Ram 1500 Quad Cab pickup trucks manufactured from Aug. 28, 2013, to Aug. 8, 2015

The Problem: In vehicles equipped with inflatable side curtain air bags, the air bags may not fully overlap the C-pillar, increasing the risk of occupant ejection and injury in the event of a rollover crash. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is unaware of any accidents or injuries related to this issue.

The Fix: FCA is determining a remedy and will notify owners when one is available, which will be done free of charge.

DB I'm sure you are more bright than what you wrote. The takata airbag affected everyone. This ram issue is a design problem with the airbags location in the pillar.

LOL 3 recalls in one day makes the ram lovers go crazy.

I have never heard of anyone being ejected when they have their seat belt on....I have also never had a vehicle with a air bag in the pillar, oh and in 42 years of driving never been in an what's the big deal, a bunch of Nancy's.....

No GM guys can comment on any recalls, at least the other companies have recalls. GM waits until its too late, waaaaay too late
