Ram 1500 front 1 II

The current-generation Ram 1500 has been one of the most value-packed half-tons in the segment from the moment it was introduced in 2013. Now that the pickup market is moving at warp speed (growing last month by 10 percent), Ram announced it will move most of its next-generation 1500 production to a bigger plant with more capacity.

Meanwhile, take a look at the strengths and weaknesses of the current-gen Ram 1500 in our comprehensive Cars.com review to see how the current Ram half-ton measures up against the competition. Click here.

Will everyone who posts issues not related to the preceding article, please refrain from spewing your emotional hatered for a damm machine. Yes, we all have our favorites and they are all good in their own ways. It's when people feel they have to emotionally have to defend their position over a MACHINE is ludicrous. This used to be a semi intelligent forum. It's been reduced to a few brand bashers with little egos who personify a electro-mechanical device. Give it a rest and say something related to the topic.

LOWEST PAYLOAD IN ITS CLASS.

POOR OWNER SATISFACTION SURVEY RESULTS.

FAILED OFFSET FRONTAL CRASH TESTS.

BEND OVER.

How did Ford and it's Popular F-Series Brand the F-150 get pulled into this post. Damn, it seems that on every non-Ford posting there are people bringing in Ford, it's friggin hilarious, Ford should be flattered.

If your concerned about towing( more than once) i've towed over 16,00lbs in a 2014 Ram 1500 with a Hemi!

Mind you I do have airbags in the rear but my truck is fine, no issues whatsoever!

I don't recommend it as its not safe for long term but 15-20 minute trips going max 65, Ram Owns it!

I'd like to see a ecobust do that! maybe i'd believe in the big bang theory as the end of a Ford!
