Ram Rebel TRX Concept Exhaust Note Video
Posted by Mark Williams | October 1, 2016
It's not every day you get to hear what a monster off-roader might sound like if it had an amazingly powerful supercharged V-8 engine and a pair of exhaust pipes integrated in some rocker rails. We heard it at the 2016 State Fair of Texas.
Here's what the new Ram Rebel TRX concept desert runner sounds like when fired up.

Sounds mean, loud and American.
Love it.
another one off trying to get some hype. look how many ram runners we don't see.
Awesome sounding exhaust note. Build it, and they will come.
Does not sound street legal.
I agree with that the exhaust note matches the truck. These types of truck are toys and status symbols. Why not just go balls to the wall and put in an engine as mean as the way the truck looks. I can say that for this (I know it's not in production) but still, I can't say the same for the Raptor. It's a great looking truck and it's very capable but I want a truck like that to rumble going down the road not buzz. Also, who the hell buys trucks like these for gas mileage? It comes with 35" all terrain tires STOCK. I normally wouldn't say this, but Ram has the upper hand if they decide to build it.
Some of you are jealous. The 3.5 is all new and has more power and torque than the outgoing 6.2L V8 Raptor and it is also used in the GT. You can order one right now. I am a little surprised it is taking Ram so long to build a credible Raptor fighter. Good luck on waiting for one.
The Furd marketing hype has made many believers. But in the long run, there is no replacement for displacement. Twin turbo also means higher maintenance cost and replacement down the road. I'd buy the Ram TRX with the 6.2 V8 if it were me! Go Ram!

Me too. This thing would blow the beer can doors right off the Raptor and not sound like a 90s Honda Civic. Build it Ram.
Ford Rapturd sales will drop like a rock if you do! No one wants a weak ricer burner sounding 60 grand off road truck! If you putting out 60 grand which most dealers mark it up to it better come with a V8!

Well said!
Build this truck!
No off-road truck should be without a V8.
GM and Ram wins and Ford loses again!
Your precious GM off-road truck (zr2) isn't coming with a V8.
Re: all off-road trucks must come with a V8
awesome truck!. should compete with gm, oh wait, thats right, they are a no show once again
