Video: 1958 Jeep FC-170 at 2016 SEMA Show

IMG_5670 II

You don't see many 1958 Jeep FC-170 pickup trucks anymore, but at the 2016 Specialty Equipment Market Association Show in Las Vegas we saw one of the most gorgeously restored examples we've ever seen. Crowds surrounded the Jeep the entire time we were shooting this video. Once you watch it, you'll see why. Every detail is stock and reconditioned, with the exception, of course, of the quite modern 5.7-liter Hemi V-8.

Now that is just plain cool. Come on FORD fans, you're allowed to cheer on another manufactures present and past designs. Stop living in your world of what FORD says.

Yeah!

I do like many vintage car truck stuff. And I do like that Jeep look. Many just a little less "bolt on stuff". As it was.

Those rear fenders are not stock. That vintage of jeep had the square-ish fenders first seen in 1947 and continued thru the last gladiator with the utility bed. Otherwise it's well done.

Is this the truck that had a "track conversion" on it earlier this year ? Hot Rod Magazine had it, testing it against a Hellcat Challenger, and Mike Finnegan's "Blasphemi" Chevy ....

One of the few truly interesting trucks at the show.
