2017 Ram Rebel Black Video Review
Posted by Mark Williams | January 13, 2017
Ram has added a new special edition to its Ram 1500 Rebel lineup. Called the Ram Rebel Black, we were able to get a closer look at it during the 2017 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The new package provides rims and front skid plates that are completely black along with a black interior. Check out the video below to see if this new package is a bad idea or worthy of those who want a truck with a bad attitude. The pricing noted in the video includes destination charges.

With all the negative press on FCA, I do really like the Rams truck line, and would buy one well before a GM product.
Looks like any other Fiat, needs an update badly. I don't understand the "black" editions with chrome trim on them. The flat black bumpers remind me or a base model truck. I'll pass.
I don't see any chrome trim.
love the no chrome look but I can't get on board with that grill design.
too much tacky plastic chrome on most trucks.

The RAM has been the style leader for the last decade. Too bad they don't have the reliability down path. Nitro, if you like these you should buy one. There is probably no difference in the reliability of the RAM than the FORD.
Pour some water on it and shrink it down to mid-size and I would buy it in a heart beat...
The only word that comes to my mind when i look at the pictures is HOOPTIE!!!!!
@gms, I did own an 09 Ram with the Hemi, it was a great truck, unlike my previous Silverados that were junk

In a statement, a spokesperson for FCA said the company “intends to work with the incoming administration to present its case and resolve this matter fairly and equitably.” It said it was “disappointed” by the EPA notice of violation and is looking forward to demonstrating that FCA’s emissions control strategies are “properly justified and thus are not ‘defeat devices’ under applicable regulations and to resolve this matter expeditiously.”
The scandal now hovering over FCA seems to share a lot of similarities with Volkswagen’s so-called Dieselgate, which also flared up this week when a VW executive was arrested by the FBI on charges of conspiring to defraud US customers. VW is said to have reached a $4.3 billion settlement with regulators.
According to Bloomberg, Fiat Chrysler used technology from German auto supplier Bosch, which is also under investigation for its role in providing software to VW. The FCA probe is likely to involve less vehicles than the VW investigation, but considering FCA’s precarious debt situation, could still hobble the automaker. FCA’s shares fell as much as 4.5 percent and were down 3 percent to $9.65 in New York trading.
In a call with reporters yesterday, FCA CEO Sergio Marchionne called the allegations “absolute nonsense.” He admitted his company’s software may be “technically deficient,” but denied accusations that it was similar to VW’s cheat devices.

Ram desperately needs a refresh or redesign! Ugly!
at least Ram didn't copy GMC's grill and steal the blue interior from 30 year old Chevy trucks and Suv's. Next some company will slowly but surely try to copy Chevy's iconic stacked headlight look. They will start by cutting into the bulky headlight a little at a time, then a few years later cut it a bit more with a wider grill bar intrusion. But one day they will realize there retail market has left them years ago. They will claim to sell more ''pick up trucks'' then all others, but in reality they only sell more chassis cab's and fleet vehicles then the competition. Maybe one day they will give there loyal customers what they want, A v8 truck, with out all the useless gimmicks. Then only then will there be more of there trucks parked in the average Joe's driveway.
Sweeet! It's perfect for an all around 1/2 ton with aggressive styling right from the dealer. Custom hood, custom rear bumper with exhaust built right in. Air lift suspension no one else has. Auto leveling so it handles great when loaded. Off road computer software. Hemi V8 off road tires and wheels. Remember when Ram changed the game with 20" rims? I love Chrysler's attitude. Not afraid to go out side the box.
A.E.V. is now doing a 1/2 ton Ram's.

Truck is flat out one sweet ride, people who dont like it ???? Dont get that at all. But that what makes the world go round
Nice truck but Sergio should get Trumps number on speed dial...not sure he can wiggle his way out of this one :-)
Now that's a f ugly grill.
Bronco2020, Are you a fan of the styling of the Bronco 11?
The grill and massive RAM letters on the tailgate alone turn me away from this model. I grabbed a 2015 limited because those big block letters are hideous. Everyone knows it's a ram guys settle down!!!!!
I agree Carlos. I seen a ram dually the other day and the whole tailgate was consumed by 3 giant letters in chrome. It was the most gaudy thing I have ever seen.
The headlights need to be slightly larger to dial in that catfish face. Raising the whiskers to the chin would finish the look.
Other than that...nice bottom feeder.
