We know there's not much to the new Redline special-edition appearance package from Chevrolet — it's basically wheels, unique colors and red tow hooks — that debuted at the 2017 Chicago Auto Show. But we were struck by the way the 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and Colorado looked when dressed in Redline trappings. So we're sharing a photo gallery of the new package from every angle. Look for more information and details about the Redline after we get our first chance to get behind the wheel.

Looks ok. Most trucks look good in certain colors. I'm not sure this is the best choice to showcase this new edition.
I'm not a fan of the front end.

You remember all the FORD special editions, Harley, Eddie Bauer, Walmart, Tonka, Seven eleven, Cabela, Ikea, etc, etc, etc.
Should put the strips on the fender like the corevette, think it'd look little cooler that way.
Chevy says positive feedback pushed it to make the package available for sale.
The red tow hooks increase off-road ability and towing capacity and the speial tire and wheel pkg helps with braking and 0-60 speeds.
The phrase "putting lipstick on a pig" comes to mind
No wonder they are going down in sales.

Only comments that have shown excitement have come from the Ford guys. No one falls for a little marketing like you guys. HAHAHA! FORD #1. HAHAHA, you continue to fall for that one. LOL.
I was thinking red hooks would save the tow truck driver time when searching for a connect point. :)

Why aren't the Tahoe red lined or made I Super sport model l am a 4 time Tahoe owner with a recent 13 Silverado l own now a 15 Tahoe , 05 Siverado 2500hd and a 1999 GMC Serria l am a GM at heart please it would be great to have the options Ss and redline. please ask if one day that this could cross there minds Thank you.

So Chevy think's a few red stripes on the wheels and red tow hooks are something Chevy's are for little boy's Real Women go for Toyota's and Horse's both of mine my truck and my horse can pull any Chevy or Ford out of the mud

I prefer GM trucks but this is another lame special edition.
I like the Custom Sport and that's about it. This is the worst one yet.
@GMS, papa, johnny, the fanboys.....all joking aside, I am being 100% true right now. If it werent for those dang square wheel wells, you guys would have a nice looking truck.....first 2 pictures of the front is very nice, until they pan around the side of the truck....
A couple cans of Plasti-dip and you can do the same thing.
They just announced the starting price for the ZR2 is $40,288

I see that Ford has their new Superduty all squared up finally and looking tougher like the Silverado . Maybe they are trying to steal some of the 3/4 ton market share from the leader , GM.
