2017 Chicago Auto Show: Ram to Debut Night Edition for HDs
Clearly following the "if it works for small trucks, it'll work for big trucks" philosophy, Ram continues to spread the special-edition strategy to its 2500 and 3500 lineup.
Debuting at the 2017 Chicago Auto Show, the new crew-cab-only Night edition will be available on both 4x2 and 4x4 drivetrain setups of the Ram heavy duties and offer buyers a choice of three engines: a 5.7-liter Hemi, a 6.4-liter Hemi and a turbo-diesel 6.7-liter inline-six Cummins.
The new Night edition includes a blacked-out grille surround and aluminum inserts; large, blacked-out Ram lettering on the tailgate; a black ram's head on the front grille; 20-inch black-painted aluminum wheels; blacked-out bezels on the lights; and flat-black door and tailgate badging. Night will be offered in five colors: Bright Silver Metallic, Bright White, Brilliant Black Crystal, Delmonico Red Pearl and Granite Crystal Metallic.
Two-wheel-drive Ram 2500 Night editions with the small V-8 will start at $46,840 (including the $1,320 destination fee) and are on sale now.

Nice looking truck Ram!
Awesome looking truck!
I wish Ram would come up with a Trouble Free Edition.
That is a great looking truck!
Nicer looking than those ugly Fords!
It's unfortunate that RAM is the least safe truck (crash test ratings) with questionable quality - only truck with a buy back and personal experience. The beauty is only skin deep on RAM ant that's too bad
Night Edition, just to ugly to be a Daytime Edition.
@Grnzel1
But at least you'll look good doin' it. There is not a more intimidating-looking vehicle on the entire highway with the possible exception of a Dodge Viper.
too bad they don't offer the V10 in the Ram anymore (or do they?)
@sierra/gms/johnny, I would say that too sitting in a distant fourth place
Why hasn't Ford been able to build such a good looking truck instead of those goofy designs they currently have.
As always, the Best Brand of Trucks always get's thrown into the conversation of an inferior product. You guys are all pathetic.
The Ram Box now looks uber goofy. Good Luck FCA!
@gms, you are right, the Fords are so stylish they outsell all the other brands

Nicer looking than those ugly shaky shake GOVT motor trucks!
Why hasn't shaky GOVT motors build better looking trucks instead of those goofy square designs they currently have.
Because they sell more that way and that's so 1960s-70s for GM.

I really wish my truck had Ram boxes. Im making my own fishing pole holders for my bed. Just bought a new rifle as well. Be nice just to have them in the Ran boxes. Oh well. It's got everything else.

That is funny.
But I have to admit the Ram is the best looking truck. And it's so obvious Ford tried to copy Ram's front end but ended up with one butt ugly grill.! Now they are trying to make 2018 look like an older siverado.? Dumb Ford design team.
RAM lettering on the gate is large enough to view from outer space. Overall it's lipstick on a tired pig - it's long overdue for a new Ram design.

See being that I'm full blooded Italian, Sergio Marchionne
listens to my thoughts that if one wants a 6.4L or bigger, it's as simple as moving up to 2500. Have a nice day. :-)
No one is jealous of Ford, even most of the world agrees they are garbage.

My RAM is 13.5 years old and I still love it. 3.7L V-6 has never given me a problem. Gets a major service every 30K miles.
