Facebook CEO Takes to the Ford Assembly Line
It's not often you see a multibillionaire working on a pickup truck production line, but Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg spent some time making a Ford F-150 as part of a 50-state tour. He said he's touring the country to get closer to what real people think.
According to USA Today, Zuckerberg was at the Ford Rouge Factory in Dearborn, Mich., Thursday installing antennas and screws on new F-150s. From the photos, it looks like they were XLT SuperCrew 4x4s.
Zuckerberg noted that the most interesting part of his day with Ford was talking to the line workers he met.
Zuckerberg posted several photos of his Ford experience on his Facebook timeline; he even signed one of the owner's manuals, which will be in the glove box of a new F-150 &mash; a nice surprise for a future buyer. Given the content of the Facebook post, it looks like Zuckerberg learned quite a bit about F-150s and the people who make them.

I can see it now: Ford recall. Affected models, 2017 F150. Build date, April 28 2017. Number of vehicles affected, about 3. Reason for recall, antennae's may have been installed incorrectly and some screws not tightened properly. What to do: bring vehicle in immediately as loss of communication may cause loss of control resulting in a crash.
Ford could have another model, the Zuckerberg Edition !
That last picture showing the rear inside of the cab is a great picture to show how BIG and roomy the rear seat is in the F-150
This could be a Facebook jump the shark moment. Next on the hit parade, special Facebook editions of Ford's Fiesta and Focus complete with a infotainment system Facebook home screen button.
He is teaching them how to install a door so people dont fall out on the highway like previous 2017 Fords.
I doubt Zuckerburg even drives a truck.
Special 24/7 spying antenna and wish Good luck, the owner really needs with this truck.
I doubt Zuckerburg even drives a truck.

Who cares but he could have visited a GM or Fiat truck factory...(oh wait, they're in Mexico :-) but instead he chose F150 factory.
I guess this figures as they are the reference & US's No.1 selling truck for 41 yrs & No.1 selling vehicle for 35 yrs & counting...
