We want to take time today to say thank-you for making us one of your regular internet stops. The fact that you come here occasionally or like clockwork means you want to know more about small and large pickup trucks and where they fit in the larger automotive world. We're grateful for that, especially on this celebration of the birth of our country — now 241 years old. From all of us from at 22-year-old PickupTrucks.com, we hope you and your families have a safe and relaxing 4th of July.

My favorite passage of the Declaration of Independence, something we forget today to remember:

“Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness…” Declaration of Independence July 4, 1776.
