We had the chance to do a quick walk-around of one of the most unique vehicles at the recent 2017 Special Equipment Market Association Show in Las Vegas: the Hennessey Ford VelociRaptor 6x6 available for model-year 2017 or 2018 Ford F-150 Raptors. Made by custom-performance wizard John Hennessey, the VelociRaptor makes a reported 600 horsepower and runs a pair of modified turbos. Here's a closer look.

Boring its a Ford, it break before you make it off the pavement.

@Robert Ryan -- Love the portal axles. Looks like it's well done. Any chance we'll see one at the LA Auto Show in two weeks?

@Mark Williams
Company is not exactly backwards in coming forwards. I would suggest contacting them at Patriot Campers. They are trying to build a US business. They have exhibited at one show in the US wi their Campertrailers.

Australia has many companies doing those conversions. RV Off Road industry is very big here compared to tbe US or Europe.

Last post on this. Taking the 6x6 theme a little further.

Classic Freudian projection. Get help Johnny, there is no shame in that.

I’d like to see this thing jump, hahaha....or is it just a pavement queen

When you take the the most advanced, most awesome, highest performance truck EVER made to date and make it even more insanely incredible this is what you get.

Hennessey should have used independent rear suspension.
Should have a center differential between those rear differentials {don't know if it currently has one}

The GM version of this truck has ran circles around the stock Ford Craptor in bunch of videos on the internet. I guess if you need another rear axle to finally beat then whatever.

Kind of an oxymoron. Still think the original is the best.
here is a 1947 example. Power Wagon,
