2019 Ram 1500 Tradesman: Spied
Our spy shooters are beginning to see more versions of less camouflaged test vehicles on the roads around Detroit. With the all-new 2019 Ram 1500 scheduled to debut at the 2018 North American International Auto Show during press days next week, this is likely to be our last set of spy photos before we see the real thing in Detroit (the show opens to the public Jan. 20). We expect to more of the Tradesman and other new Ram 1500 features in March at the 2018 Work Truck Show in Indianapolis.
Here's what our stealthy photographer sent us:
"Another trim level for the 2019 Ram 1500 has shown itself, this time in the guise of the base Tradesman model. We have separate shots of the new base headlights — different from anything in any prior shots we've taken — and a new mesh treatment for the grille. If the Ram crosshair grille was going to appear on the 2019 Ram 1500, it would seem like the Tradesman trim is where it would appear. At this point, it seems that the Ram crosshair grille will be specifically for the current-generation Rams, which will be sold alongside the new 2019 Ram 1500 and heavy duties."

They have better made it safer! The current model has the worst crash test ratings most notable it the roof strength is crap!

Looks like crap, the new Chevy at least looks up to date, the Ram looks like a 2000 Silverado.
I know 1 thing we can all agree cars suck! Trucks and SUV's are where its at!!
I hope it gets a good power upgrade ford makes the same HP and similar torque on their 5.0 I see no reason why the 5.7 can't make 430+ HP
You've got to kidding me the same garbage 2 bulb headlights as prior years? I love my Ram but it's impossible to drive at night or in crappy weather was hoping these would be changed.

I just saw pic of new ram to and idk if I like that bulge in middle of hood??? But totally agree with you that 5.7L can easily make 430HP
There is one thing I truly love about ram. They go all in when it comes to ramming HP into there vehicles!!!
Looks a lot like the Silverado. I'll count these in Chevy sales in 19'.
