2018 Ford F-650, F-750: Recall Alert
By Patrick Masterson
Vehicles Affected: Approximately 150 model-year 2018 Ford F-650 and F-750 medium-duty work trucks
The Problem: The parking brake cable may not have adequate tension, which could result in reduced parking brake performance and unintended vehicle movement, increasing the risk of accident or injury.
Ford said it is not aware of any accidents or injuries associated with the issue.
The Fix: Dealers will adjust the parking brake cable to the proper tension for free. When operating a vehicle prior to repair, customers should make sure the transmission is secured in Park (if equipped) or the wheels are chocked before leaving the vehicle unattended.
What Owners Should Do: Ford did not immediately announce an owner-notification schedule. Owners can call the automaker at 866-436-7332, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236 or visit its website to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.

Another F-series with a brake problem. It must be in the DNA.
Certainly can't happen to GM, cause... they stop selling commercial duty trucks... Hmmm

Oh ya, FORD!

I got the recall completed on my F-150 Eco-Boost
Dealer replaced the seat fastener bolts.
The problem is the Eco-Boost has sooooo much power and quick acceleration that the high g-force that forces the driver back in the seat puts too much stress on the seat bolts.
(this recall is only on the Eco-Boost F-150's, doesn't effect the F-150's with the s-----l------o------w 5.0 V8)
Hey look at the bright side. You get free refills on that Ford blue punch they pass around at the dealership waiting area. lol
Looking forward to an F750 with a dump body for the next work truck. Do wish the new V8 7 liter would be shown soon the V10 is a great option but damn its old now. Everything has recalls this is a foolish problem to cry on a forum in support of your brand about.
