2019 Ram 1500 North Edition: Ready for Winter
In advance of winter's impending arrival — even if you have snow where you live, it's technically still fall — Ram is releasing a new special edition to better handle whatever Old Man Winter throws our way.

Included in this latest monochromatic all-new 2019 Ram 1500 North Edition are a host of snow- and cold-oriented features. The truck is geared to owners who need more warmth and capability from their pickup truck in the form of four-wheel drive, a 1-inch factory lift with taller coil springs, snow-rated Falken LT tires, a locking rear differential, front and rear parking sensors, remote start, steel bumpers, tow hooks, Mopar all-weather floormats, heated seats and steering wheel, heated mirrors, an engine block heater and more.
The North Edition is based on the popular, well-equipped Ram 1500 Big Horn trim level and will be available in crew-cab 4x4 configurations with a long-bed (6 feet, 4 inches) or short-bed (5 feet, 4 inches) wheelbase. The standard engine is the mild-hybrid eTorque 3.6-liter V-6; the eTorque 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 and regular 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 are optional.
Ram has had strong success with limited-run special-edition versions of half-ton models that allow new-truck buyers to believe they own something unique. Some of our past favorites include the 2018 Ram 1500 Hydro Blue Sport and the 2017 Ram 1500 Rebel Mojave Sand.
The 2019 Ram 1500 North Edition will start at $47,585 (including destination) and is available for ordering in dealerships now.

Seems like a nice set up. Its a great dark blue. Nice Fiat.
I’ve been “Meh” on the looks of the new Ram, but this package looks really nice inside and out, along with some useful utility iptions.
Handsome truck. Definitely the best-looking truck on the market, followed by the Ford Super Duty.
What’s up with all this edition from FIAT TRUCKS AND GARBAGE MOTORS? it’s kinda like they don’t know what to anymore. Hopefully they don’t come up with THE SANTA CLAUSE EDITION, REINDEERS EDITION, OR EVEN FUNNIER THE TURKEY EDITION. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. From what I know FORD use to have the harley-Davison that’s it.
Nice truck. Except for the light tan color, the interior is quite nice. The absence of that 12 inch touch screen allows for a more traditional look.
Heated steering wheels are something you never want to do without once you experience it on a fridged morning.
The best-looking pickups you can buy. They improved on a design that was already very competitive style-wise
These are a hit in the showrooms too. I see them on the street a lot. The question that remains to be answered is reliability.
We'll see.
Wow. Ram is serious about passing Chevy for the #2 sales. This truck is going to push Ford to think hard about the interior on the 2020 F-150. The exterior is somewhat conservative, but a much more elegant evolution of it's predecessor. I too like the smaller screen in the center stack. That 12" screen is just too godly.
........followed by the Ford Super Duty.

Ford is following everyone else now. It will be years before Ford gets new grilles.
those mirrors look like they extended out, weird,
dial shifter? really? mini van?
Great idea! If you live in the north this is a must have! Alot of people are busy and they just want a good truck for summer and winter this takes all the guess work out and delivers a solid package!
It would be really nice if the north edition had anti rust paint or aluminum body panels. Here in Mn there are lots of 5-7 year old trucks with lot of rust. I cannot justify dropping 30-40k on a truck that will rust out quickly.
@David it comes down to lack of proper maintenace. Frequent washing during winter is the best rest preventative.

@David
In my area you can take your truck to a car wash every few weeks and the system will spray the underside of your truck and hose off the salt.
Go through the machine and then go for a high speed blast on the highway for a minute or two and blow off the water. Good for another 2 weeks. Repeat.
Leaps and bounds over anything made by the lowlifes from Ford and GM
