Could the Ram 1500 Rebel Concept Become a Special Edition?

We're on to Ram. It seems like every year the truckmaker shows us "concept" vehicle at the popular Mopar booth at the annual Specialty Equipment Market Association Show in Las Vegas. However, when you look a little closer, a lot of the parts on the truck are already available with ordering numbers.

It was the same at the 2018 show that just concluded. The Ram 1500 Rebel Concept had many familiar parts, with a few prototype parts likely to become available before next year. We like the overall look here with the extra suspension height and stylish light bar, spare tire carrier and new graphics.

Here's what we had to say when we found a break in the crowds to get our video camera near the truck.

I'd pay 'em extra just to have that grille removed/replaced with a proper nose.

That’s one of the ugliest trucks on the market besides the CHEVYOTA TUNDERADO. Lol

Dodges and Rams have always been great looking pickups. I just wish they were more reliable. Never had one that didn't die on me.

I’m a proud owner of a 2017 Ram 1500 and now to see the new model that looks more like a Chevrolet Avalanche really doesn’t say to much for there designers. I guess when what I’m saying is go retro before copying other auto makers. I suppose I’ll be switching to ford on my next purchase, I don’t care for the Chevy look.

I have a 2011 with 180000 miles, it's been a great truck, love the Rebel

If you ask me, that Ram has the best-looking nose of ALL the full-sized pickups.

The new 2019 RAM has a great looking front end.

The previous generation had a great snout but FCA could not leave it alone and they came out with a thing that looked like a pig snout. Go figure.

Ford did the pig-snout thing a few years ago and they still haven't quite gotten rid of it.

A "Foryota Avalanche." No thank you. I love my 99 Laramie SLT.
