2019 Ram 1500: Recall Alert
By Patrick Masterson
Vehicles Affected: Approximately 194,000 model-year 2019 Ram 1500 pickup trucks equipped with adjustable pedals
The Problem: Activating the feature to move pedals to their rear-most position may compromise the integrity of the brake-pedal assembly, which could lead to the brake pedal detaching, increasing the risk of a crash.
Ram parent company Fiat Chrysler Automobiles said it is unaware of any related accidents or injuries. FCA recommends that owners refrain from using the adjustable-pedal feature until it is fixed.
The Fix: Dealers will further secure the brake pedals for free.
What Owners Should Do: FCA did not immediately announce an owner-notification schedule. Owners can call the automaker at 800-853-1403, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236 or visit its website to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.

See, I told you all that RAMs are junk. FACT.

Thank you! ...for finally upgraded your photos to hi-def.
Much appreciated.
I guess they don’t know what quality control means.
The answer my friend..
is Ford for the win,
the answer is Ford for the win.
[verse 2]
The GM twins interior is hands-down better than the RAM.
Dang, within 12 days and another recall for RAM.....Um???

Yep, and I am one of the lucky ones to own a 2019 Ram Platinum. Issue after issue, and now more trips to the dealer. Ram quality is still its biggest downfall. I thought maybe this new one would be better, nope. On the bright side my 2nd 12" uconnect has worked for 2 weeks now. First one failed after 3 weeks.
Too bad really, it is a nice riding, nice looking truck.
Funny the guy complaining calls it a Ram Platinum. Must be a European trim we haven’t heard of. Ford and GM have the same issues. Coworkers 2019 Silverado in the shop going on 2 weeks because brakes quit and he isn’t the only one. Ford leaking sunroofs. Cmon you people.
Ram Platinum?
Don’t you mean a Sierra Raptor? Or Silverado Big Horn? Or maybe you have the F150 Rebel?
I took the bullet and bought a 2019 Ram XLT with the 302 package. What a mistake. There hasn't been a day that I haven't had something fail or detach. Paid 55k for it but my dealer will take it back for only 30k. Don't make my mistake.
FIAT junk
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!’
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!’
And tailgate is the worst. Just wait and each.
Ya I meant Limited, not Platinum. Had platinum on my mind after looking at an F150. Don't really like the Ford as much as the Ram as far as looks and interior go. I am hoping the bugs will be over with soon so I can keep the Ram and enjoy it as planned. Time will tell.
The good news is potentially only very tall people will have brake failure.
So there's that.
I've been hearing a lot of stories about people having problems with the 2019 ram. All I can say is dang it if they are true. I've been wanting to like ram for years. I wish they could just get their act together and fix their quality issues.
