2019 Ford Ranger: Recall Alert

Vehicles Affected: Approximately 7,600 model-year 2019 Ford Ranger SuperCab pickup trucks manufactured from June 18, 2018, to June 18, 2019, at the Michigan Assembly Plant in Wayne, Mich.
The Problem: The right-front seat belt may have been improperly assembled and may not adequately restrain occupants in a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
Ford said it is not aware of any accidents or injuries associated with the issue.
The Fix: Dealers will inspect and replace, as necessary, the right-front seat belt assembly for free.
What Owners Should Do: Ford did not immediately announce an owner-notification schedule. Owners can the automaker at 888-436-7332, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236 or visit its website to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
