We still haven't driven the new 2020 Ford Super Duty (that's slated to happen in January), but the automaker apparently has been handing them out to customizers as it announced that it will be bringing five modified heavy-duty trucks to the upcoming 2019 Specialty Equipment Market Association Show in Las Vegas. The industry-only expo runs Nov. 5-8 and showcases aftermarket equipment and tuner companies' wares. It's also popular with automakers as a showcase for their accessory businesses and partnerships with suppliers for custom vehicles.

The new Super Duty HD pickup truck gets a mild refresh for 2020, but the excitement over its arrival is still strong. Here are five trucks that Ford and its partners plan to present at the SEMA Show.

What's been added: For the truck pictured at the top of this story, the F-250 suspension received a 4.5-inch Icon Stage 7 lift kit, while bronze 18-inch Method Race 304 NV HD wheels and 37-inch BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A tires have been stuffed under custom LGE-CTS front fenders. A new front bumper has been fitted, and the bed has been replaced by a custom Pronghorn utility flatbed with an LGE-CTS canopy. A roof rack with Rigid LED lights is up top, while a Warn Industries 10S winch, ARB 6.5-foot awning, Element refrigerator and freezer, locking Ford Accessories in-vehicle safe, Pelican protective cases, Boxo tools on BuiltRight Industries tool mounts and camp chairs are all included, too.

What's the point? LGE-CTS Motorsports says that the truck is meant to serve as a "mobile command center, campsite and workshop," which sounds like a lot of missions for a single truck. I assume it's meant to support overlanding or possibly a group of other off-roaders who need a central repair vehicle — or perhaps it's just a canvas for showing off disparate parts on a single vehicle.

What's been added: For 2020, Ford will offer the Tremor Off-Road Package for F-250 and F-350 trucks. For this Tremor concept, Ford Performance Parts added a Warn winch, chase rack, rock lights, a 50-inch Rigid LED light bar, Raptor-style side steps with Ford lettering, bed ramps and a Toughbed spray-in bedliner. "Earthquake" graphics and tailgate lettering are the major visual changes.

What's the point? The new Tremor package for the 2020 Super Duty already includes lots of off-road goodies, such as a 2-inch front-end lift kit, 35-inch Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires, a locking rear and Dana limited-slip front differential. The one pictured here also has the Black Appearance Package. It's meant to compete against the Ram 2500 Power Wagon and GMC Sierra 2500 AT4. This truck was designed to show off some of Ford's in-house accessory parts.

DeBerti Design Ford Super Duty F-450 Platinum Crew Cab

What's been added: This F-450 concept boasts a Kelderman air ride suspension, 22-inch American Force wheels rolling 37-inch Toyo tires, DeBerti Design's pullout bumper drawer and dual pullout fender/cabinets, a Ford Accessories in-vehicle safe by Console Vault and Rigid LED auxiliary lights just about everywhere.

What's the point? The ultimate towing rig, the F-450 is a massive workhorse, and DeBerti Design made this dually look truly wicked.

BDS Suspension Ford Super Duty F-350 XLT Crew Cab

What's been added: This one-ton truck gets a BDS Suspension 4-inch radius arm lift kit with Fox 2.5 factory race Dual Speed Compression coil-overs and shocks, 20-inch Method Race 605 NV wheels wrapped in 40-inch Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ P3 tires, a new front bumper with a Warn Zeon 12S winch and yet another plethora of Rigid LED lights. The bed has been replaced with a Knapheide aluminum service box loaded with a hard-shell tent and awning up top. Inside, there's a Dometic fridge, two-burner gas grille and propane tank, Ridetech air compressor, power inverter, and collapsible aluminum table and camp chairs. The whole thing is painted custom Agate Black and Chroma Elite Copper, and the cabin gets the Katzkin leather treatment complete with a Kicker VSS audio system.

What's the point? This is another overlanding rig, but it seems well sorted out with thoughtful, useful accessories. Don't try putting it down any tight off-road trails, however, as it's a monster meant more for wide-open country. Replacing the bed with a multicompartment custom utility box seems to be a better use of the space than trying to modify a pickup bed.

What's been added: This concept sports 20-inch Grid wheels with 37-inch General tires, a Ford Accessories Sportliner carpet kit by Bed Rug and a Retrax PowerTraxPro MX bed cover to keep the muck off the carpet. Akzo Nobel Sikkens red paint and a Rigid Adapt LED light bar have been added for visibility.

What's the point? This is a mild upgrade to the regular Tremor and Black Appearance packages for the F-250; the truck is meant to showcase simple, more affordable changes for personalizing a Super Duty.
