Nissan announced pricing for its updated 2020 Titan and Titan XD pickup trucks, both of which received a significant refresh inside and out. Prices have gone up by several thousand dollars on average. The smallest price increase came on the loaded-up Titan Platinum Reserve 4x4 crew cab, which jumped by $800, while the biggest increase came on the grade just below it, the Titan SL 4x4 crew cab, which went up by $5,670. The least expensive Titan pickup is now the Titan S 4x2 King Cab, which starts at $37,785, or a hefty $2,550 more than the outgoing model.

We already knew that the single-cab model was no more — you can only get a Titan in King Cab (extended cab) and crew-cab body styles now, and the beefier XD is only available in a 4x4 crew-cab configuration with a gas engine (the diesel engine is no more). That's the only bad news; the good news is that the redesigned Titan and Titan XD are significantly better trucks than the ones they replace, with refinement, luxury appointments and fully modern and up-to-date multimedia systems.

The new Titan also features additional safety equipment and a boost to the powertrain. The standard 5.6-liter V-8 now makes 400 horsepower and 413 pounds-feet of torque, and it's mated to a new nine-speed automatic transmission. Nissan's Safety Shield 360 suite of electronic safety aids is standard on all trim levels.
