Ford still hasn’t given the U.S. a Ranger Raptor, but it’s decided to help out Ranger owners looking to turn their four-wheel-drive 2019 or 2020 pickup truck into something closer to the F-150 Raptor and not the diesel-powered Ranger Raptor available in other markets. Having previously announced both a suspension leveling kit and winch-ready front bumper accessory for the Ranger, Ford Performance is upping its accessory game considerably with three levels of off-road accessory packages for the mid-size pickup. The various levels add tougher looks and capability upgrades to both off-road performance and power.

Level 1
For $2,495 (before installation), the Level 1 accessory package adds the previously available off-road leveling kit, Fox-brand 2.0 Performance Series front and rear monotube shocks, 17-inch gray Ford Performance wheels and Ford Performance graphics. Not a bad start, but …
Level 2
… Level 2 gives you all of the Level 1 package and takes the upgrades even further for $4,495 before installation. That extra $2,000 buys you a Ford Performance engine calibration for the turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine that increases horsepower to 315 (a 16% increase) and torque to a robust 370 pounds-feet (a nearly 20% jump). It also adds 265/70-17 BFGoodrich KO2 off-road tires, a Rigid foglight kit, blue tow hooks and a Ford Performance stainless-steel license plate holder.
Level 3
Level 2 not enough? Level 3, the most complete upgrade package, will cost $8,995 before installation, more than double the Level 2 cost. In addition to everything included in Levels 1 and 2, Ford Performance will add a Ford Performance sport exhaust system, the ARB-brand winch-ready bumper and Rigid 40-inch LED light bar kit, swap out the blue tow hooks for red ones and add a chase rack to the bed.
Release Date
The Level 1 and Level 2 kits will be available for order in August, according to Ford, with the Level 3 kit available next summer. To order them, contact your preferred Ford dealer or hit up Ford Performance directly. If a customer gets a lower-level package installed and wishes to upgrade to a higher level later, Ford’s current recommendation is to order the additional parts individually. If you’re interested in the full Level 3 upgrade, it might behoove you to wait until next summer and do it all at once. Remember, also, that the prices are MSRPs and that pricing and installation costs may vary from dealer to dealer.
